Moscow is in favor of deepening cooperation with Ankara in various directions, including in the South Caucasus, and is interested in the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced this after the meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Moscow.
"We are also interested in the implementation of all the agreements that have been reached between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia since November 2020, including in the matter of unblocking transport communication and connections, as well as post-conflict reconstruction. We are convinced that Turkey can play a very constructive and useful role in these efforts," Lavrov said.
