The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany, Michael Roth, referred to the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh in his microblog of
X (formerly Twitter).
"There is a real danger of humanitarian disaster and ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh. Thus, Azerbaijan endangers the fragile process of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace and security in the South Caucasus. The EU and Germany must not be silent. Azerbaijan should immediately remove the blockade. We need a fact-finding mission of the Council of Europe in Nagorno-Karabakh. The EU observation mission in Armenia should be strengthened and extended to the state territory of Azerbaijan as well," said the deputy.
