We are here to express our support, our solidarity, our friendship. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, whose delegation led the convoy of 10 trucks sent from France to the border area of Kornidzor, stated at the press conference organized in Syunik province.
The Mayor of Paris noted that the delegation includes people from various parties and political views, who are "united by Armenia and Artsakh".
"We are here today because the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France addressed us on April 24 and said that we need to act, it's time to act, it's time to address the people of France. And especially the local authorities of France should unite and be able to provide humanitarian aid to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)," said the Mayor of Paris, then detailed what the trucks that arrived in Kornidzor were loaded with. "We were able to send 10 trucks containing mostly non-perishable food, baby food, powdered milk, but also generators, solar panels, anything that will give you a chance to resist."
