"The first is the urgency to act. The Nagorno-Karabakh Foreign Minister said that two days' supply of flour is left, and it is obvious that the situation will become more urgent day by day.
The second reason is that Strasbourg is the capital of Europe. Strasbourg is home to the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights. And we send our message to the President of France, but also to other European institutions, including the Council of Europe.
I will finish my speech by saying that as a grandson and great-grandson of the survivors of the 1915 genocide, it is simply unacceptable for me that even today the rights of the people to live in dignity and simply to exist are being violated," she said.
