Late yesterday evening, the parliament of Nagorno-Karabakh held an extraordinary session, in which President Arayik Harutyunyan also participated. After the meeting, President Harutyunyan presented details of the agenda to the citizens gathered in front of the National Assembly building, and noted that the problem of the return of the kidnapped youths from the illegal checkpoint of the Hagari bridge will be resolved as a priority. According to the President, he will personally try to establish contact and specify the date of their return to Stepanakert.
Speaking about the created situation, Harutyunyan noted that deaths due to malnutrition have increased, and within days they should solve the problem of bread, opening the road in the first stage, which will be exclusively Lachin.
"Hunger, lack of everything, pregnant women lose their children as a result of the situation. We reached this state because we believed in everyone, the superpowers, the UN," he said.
Protesters gathered in Stepanakert's Revival Square demanded clarifications from President Arayik Harutyunyan regarding the steps to find out the fate of the kidnapped citizens of Nagorno-Karabakh. Harutyunyan approached them and answered the questions.
