The project of Charles Aznavour’s statue in Yerevan has been put on vote on the “Active Citizen”
platform, the Yerevan City Hall informs.
Until August 31 at 14:00, citizens can vote for the preferred project of the sculpture of Charles Aznavour, the national hero of Armenia.
The monument will be placed in Yerevan’s France Square as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great chansonnier’s birth in 2024.
An open tender was announced for the selection of the sculpture project, the 37 bids received will be presented for consideration by a specially formed committee.
The project that receives the most votes on the platform will be included and reflected in the results of the commission’s vote.
