It is necessary to appeal to the Russian Federation, to all actors interested in the situation, with a proposal and request to organize a meeting with Azerbaijan regarding the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and security issues. Nagorno-Karabakh Minister of State Gurgen Nersisyan said about it.
"Since no one can guarantee the physical safety of our citizens on the territory of Azerbaijan, this meeting can take place at the location of the Russian peacekeeping forces or any other safe place with the participation of a third party, through which the constructiveness of the discussion and the inviolability of the agreements reached must be ensured," said the State Minister.
According to him, there were various meetings and agreements in the past, but they were never kept. "Today we already have the situation that we all witness," he said.
"I am convinced that the Russian Federation can and is capable of organizing a meeting aimed at discussing the created situation. We need to stop and clearly understand where we are going and in what way, with whose agenda and how, in the process putting forward our own agenda as well. The results of that meeting should be presented to the public and appropriate decisions should be made after that," said Gurgen Nersisyan.
It is necessary to take responsibility and take steps, this struggle in uncertainty and darkness will exhaust the people of Nagorno-Karabakh with its negative consequences. Nagorno-Karabakh Minister of State Gurgen Nersisyan said about it.
"It is necessary to have an open dialogue with the people, to show initiative, not to overestimate the efforts of intermediary countries and, without underestimating, to use them correctly. One should not be afraid of difficulties and remain steadfast. The responsibility of deciding the ways out of this situation is everyone's, we should act not with fear, but with courage," he noted.
