The message spread by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that, allegedly, on August 19, at around 4:00 p.m., the Defense Forces units carried out fortification works in the Askeran region, which was allegedly prevented as a result of the actions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, is another disinformation. Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Defense informs about this.
"It is obvious that by continuously spreading fake news and presenting agricultural works as engineering furniture for the contact line, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan is trying to justify the fire regularly opened by its units in order to disrupt the grain harvest," said the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Defense.
