One violation of the ceasefire regime was recorded in the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh. There are no casualties. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"The command of the Russian peacekeeping troops is conducting a joint investigation with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides in relation to this fact," the bulletin of the Russian Ministry of Defense reads.
On August 17, around 17:00, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the Askeran region, opening fire from small arms for the second time during the day in the direction of a combine working in the fields of Sarushen community.
