Ghana's representative to UN said he welcomes both Armenian and Azerbaijani representatives, despite backdrop of "hate speech and dangerous rhetoric" during a UN SC meeting commenced by the initiative of Armenia.
Ghana urged all parties to work to peacefully resolve the conflict, called for implementation of 2020 trilateral statement. Ghana called for upholding of right of freedom of movement, access to medicines, food and goods. The country urged implementation of ICJ ruling relating to "free movement" along Lachin Corridor in both directions. Ghana also cautioned against actions that could cause "humanitarian catastrophe."
