The authorities of Prague rejected the request of the Turkish side to place the statue of Kemal Ataturk in the capital of the Czech Republic, "Orer" newspaper reports, citing the official decision.
Earlier the Armenian community of the Czech Republic sent a letter to the Prague authorities, urging them to "halt the intention of placing a statue of the man found guilty of the genocide of Armenians and Greeks".
