Armenian Defence Ministry said on August 15, at around 12:20 p.m., Azerbaijani AF units discharged fire from fire arms targeting the EU observers patrolling in the vicinity of Verin Shorzha and their vehicle.
“There are no casualties”, the Ministry reports.
EU mission in Armenia confirms it has been present in a shooting accident near Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
“We confirm that EU mission in Armenia patrol has been present to the shooting incident in our area of responsibility” EU Mission in Armenia said in a tweet. “No EUMA member was harmed”, said EUMA in a statement.
