At the Government session on August 11, Armenia’s Prime Minister considered the fact that the highest international courts confirmed in their recent statements that Azerbaijan's comments on the February 22 and July 6 decisions of the International Court of Justice have nothing to do with reality, and that Azerbaijan is obliged to ensure the unimpeded functioning of the Lachin Corridor.
He also reminded that after the decision of July 6, Azerbaijan tried to present that with that decision, the International Court of Justice recorded that the decision of February 22 was fulfilled and that there is no need to refer to it.
“While something completely different was written in black on white. I personally read that comment, and it was very important that the international courts, including the high representatives of the international organization, the international partners recorded the situation related to the Lachin Corridor, their attitude to the International Court of Justice on February 22 and July 6 in the context of legally binding decisions,” he said.
