The European Court of Human Rights forwarded the information provided by Azerbaijan regarding Vagif Khachatryan to the Armenian side. They were handed over to Khachatryan's relatives. The Facebook page of the representative of Armenia on International Legal Matters reports.
It is noted that Armenia will present its objections to the facts and position presented by Azerbaijan within the period set by the court - by August 16.
On July 29, Azerbaijan abducted 68-year-old patient Vagif Khachatryan, who was being transported from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia for treatment, accompanied by the ICRC, at the illegal checkpoint located in the Lachin Corridor. In Baku, he was falsely accused of "participating in genocidal actions against Azerbaijanis" during the First Karabakh War.
