Helicopters have resumed rescue efforts since morning in the landslide-ravaged Georgian Shovi resort of the Oni Municipality, Georgian Public TV reports.
Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze inspected the situation together with the Head of the Defense Forces General-Mayor Giorgi Matiashvili.
National Guards with special equipment and different units of the Georgian defence forces joined the rescue efforts.
They will also get involved in cleaning works of the disaster-hit Shovi resort and will help to install footbridges to pave the way for heavy vehicles.
The death toll in the landslide-hit Shovi resort rose to eleven on August 4. Twenty-five people remain missing, while 210 were safely moved from the disaster zone.
A deadly landslide struck the resort on August 3.
