Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Ministry issued a statement on Azerbaijani disinformation.
“On July 28, the Azerbaijani MoD disseminated another false statement as if the relevant units of the Defense Forces jammed the GPS systems of civil aircraft flying through the airspace of Artsakh from July 24 to July 27 & caused serious threats to the safety of the flights”, the Defence Army stated.
“This totally false statement by the Azerbaijani MoD apparently seeks to divert the international community’s attention from the humanitarian disaster caused by the illegal blockade of Lachin Corridor.
Worthy to remind that during the 2020 war & after, it has been the Azerbaijani side who consistently targeted the civilian infrastructures of Artsakh by blocking the Lachin Corridor, disrupting the gas and electricity sypply lines and jamming internet and mobile connection”, the statement reads.
