Around 20 representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Armenia held a meeting in Goris with the citizens of Nagorno-Karabakh, who cannot return to their homes due to the complete blockade. Main part of the meeting was closed.
"I am more than confident that you follow the latest statements of the Azerbaijani leaders, which will be very difficult to consider constructive. In fact, the statements made by the Azerbaijani authorities and the actions we see from them show that there is a clear tendency to create conditions incompatible with life for the people living in Nagorno-Karabakh, which in turn will lead to ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh. I don't think this can be acceptable in any way to a civilized society in the 21st century.
I hope that everything that you saw here today, you will clearly convey to your capitals, and we hope that all the capitals will make appropriate statements and take actions, which will allow us to unblock and open the Lachin Corridor a day earlier, an hour earlier", Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan said during the meeting.
