Ani Badalyan, Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, referred to an anti-Armenian, anti-Semite publication of one of Azerbaijani media.
“Yet another piece, spread by Azerbaijani “media”, falling under classic definition of hate speech, also full of anti-Armenian propaganda. Such open encouragement of hatred coupled with actions on ground, total blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh has long-lasting effect in region and beyond, Badalyan tweeted.
She also shared a tweet by “Stop Antisemitism”, non-partisan American based organization fighting antisemitism on a media article in Azerbaijan, which said “Hitler is more humanist than any Armenian leader in history”.
“StopAntisemitism is horrified to see a newspaper in Azerbaijan publish this. Adolf Hitler massacred 6 millions Jews and 5 million others. The word “humanist” and his name do not belong in the same sentence”, the organization tweeted.
