More than 600 firefighters backed by 40 aircraft have been battling to control a wildfire for a second day in the Turkish southern tourist district of Kemer on Wednesday(July 26), Reuters reports.
Turkish media reported the effected area was more than 180 hectares of ground but was not yet threatening residential areas.
Video released by forestry authorities shows dense smoke billowing from the area.
Part of the 'Turkish Riviera', Kemer is a seaside resort that hosts thousands of tourists every year.
