Are the priorities on the Washington-Brussels-Moscow platforms the same? In response to the journalist's question during the press conference, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said:
"Regardless of the place, the negotiators do not change, whether it is in Moscow or Washington or Brussels. Armenia and Azerbaijan are negotiating. In this context, I say that we need success in negotiations and we need to reach negotiated solutions. The agenda does not change in any way, the fundamental issues do not change in any way, the logic of the conversation does not change in any way. they continue each other".
Speaking about the tension in the relations between Russia and Turkey and its impact on the conflict, the Prime Minister said, "I think that any tension in relations anywhere cannot have a positive effect. although, on the other hand, the so-called tension should not be overestimated either, because we see that Russia and Turkey, despite certain differences, are very actively co-operating.
There are contradictions in the relations of all countries. The problem is to what extent these contradictions develop into confrontational logic. Our biggest problem, conceptually and strategically, is that throughout the existence of our state, we have been and have operated in a confrontational logic, which, I suspect, is our biggest problem in all aspects, both in terms of security, development and international influence. In a confrontational logic, we have not been able and will not be able to ensure our long-term development, our security.
As for the expectations from the meeting to be held in Moscow, the Prime Minister said, "I already said that the meetings are not separate meetings. to have an expectation from the meeting separately, that it is the Moscow platform or not the Moscow platform... I have an expectation from us, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, of course, from other partners as well, that they will be able to agree on a few more articles of a possible peace treaty and be able to reach some kind of solution regarding the opening of the Lachin Corridor".
