"Applying to the UN Security Council is part of our possible toolkit, work is being done in that direction, we are also in contact with the permanent and non-permanent member states of the Security Council, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the press conference, addressing the question why Armenia does not turn to the international organization regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
"There is no difficulty in applying to the UN Security Council, you can apply to the UN Security Council in just 1 hour", said Pashinyan, the journalist clarified why they don't apply in that case. Pashinyan clarified: "The problem is whether or not a decision will be adopted as a result of the application, and if it is adopted, what decision will be adopted, because, nevertheless, let's not forget that the UN Security Council (yes, you are right), the International Court of Justice is, in fact, an implementation body, but also let's not forget that it is a political body, and especially the step of applying to the Security Council on such an issue must be sufficiently prepared, discussed with the member states, which we we do", he said.
