The disastrous humanitarian impact of the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh is evident in all spheres of life, Human Rights Defender of Nagorno-Karabakh Gegham Stepanyan posted on his Facebook.
"People's sufferings are deepening due to the absence of humanitarian access and deprivation of basic living conditions.
As a national human rights institutions, we once again call on the international community, particularly the human rights and humanitarian organisation, to take action and stop the blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) immediately and eliminate its adverse humanitarian consequences," Stepanyan stated.
