On July 20, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Armenia Piotr Skwieciński and the Deputy Head of Mission Marcin Różycki, Parliament press office reports.
Welcoming the Ambassador in Parliament, Sargis Khandanyan highly appreciated the contribution of the previous Ambassador Paweł Cieplak to the development of the Armenian-Polish relations.
Speaking about inter-parliamentary relations, Sargis Khandanyan valued the relations formed between the Friendship Groups of Poland and Armenia and the work done. He expressed hope that the successful cooperation formed by the joint active support will be further developed and strengthened.
The Committee Chair Sargis Khandanyan also highlighted the development of cooperation between the Committee on Foreign Relations of Parliament of Armenia and the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament of Poland.
The Ambassador thanked the Committee Chair for warm reception, emphasizing the friendly and economic warm relations formed between two countries.
Sargis Khandanyan presented to the Ambassador the situation created in Nagorno Karabakh because of blocking the Lachin Corridor.
Issues on regional security, as well as the Armenian-Polish cooperation agenda of many spheres were also discussed.
