President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Nechirvan Barzani, head of Iraqi Kurdistan, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan Nechirvan Barzani.
Aliyev met with Barzani in February this year as part of the Munich Security Conference.

Aliyev and Barzani discussed issues of expanding economic and trade relations with the Iraqi Kurdistan, in particular, increasing investments, cooperation in the field of energy, increasing opportunities for ties in the field of tourism, opening direct flights and other issues.
