Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the response to the attack on the Crimean bridge will be to achieve all the goals of the special operation. According to him, the Kremlin knows that Kyiv is behind the explosion.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, believes that the United States and Great Britain are involved in the explosion. He claims that Kyiv implemented it with the support of American and British special services.
The Investigative Committee of Russia initiated a case under the article of terrorism.
Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, also commented on the incident. He called the bridge an illegal structure and added that such structures are short-term.
This is not the first attack on the Crimean bridge. In October 2022, a truck was blown up, causing a part of the bridge to collapse.
