Azerbaijan continues its "environmental activism", and now that country continues to present accusations of an environmental nature at the official and unofficial level, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the sitting of the Government on July 13.
"In addition, Azerbaijan attributes mines to Armenia that simply do not exist, raises circumstances that are fake, points to decisions that are about something completely different, mentions conventions that are not relevant", Pashinyan emphasized.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that the public and private sector organizations of Armenia, of course, show and will continue to demonstrate the fictitious nature of Azerbaijan's accusations, and then referred to a circumstance.
"The Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy published the 2022 ranking of the most environmentally clean countries in the world.
The rating table measures the state's achievements in terms of environmental status, is based on 22 natural resource management indicators and 10 categories, which address environmental protection issues in terms of ecosystem viability, biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, population health, environmental impact, economic activity load, also measure the effectiveness of state policy in the field of environmental protection.
And here, in the ranking of 2022, Armenia is at the 56th place, and Azerbaijan is the 104th place. The advances and achievements of Armenia in the organizing transparent and responsible mining industry are also shown in the publications of the transparency initiative of extractive industries" he said.
