NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg summed up his meeting with Turkish president and Swden’s prime minister.
“Glad to announce that after the meeting I hosted with Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, President Erdogan has agreed to forward Sweden's accession protocol to the Grand National Assembly as soon as possible and ensure ratification. This is a historic step which makes all NATO Allies stronger and safer”, Stoltenberg tweeted.
