President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the joint projects of the two countries during the meeting.
"They refer to cooperation in the military-industrial sector, development of technologies, production of unmanned aerial vehicles, other strategic areas. Appropriate arrangements have been made," Zelensky announced after the meeting.
According to him, the situation in Europe, particularly in the Black Sea region, was discussed in detail with Erdogan. Zelensky also thanked Turkey for always supporting Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
"Of course, today we touched on the key issues of our cooperation within the framework of NATO, in particular, the preparations for the summit of the alliance to be held in Vilnius. During the conversation, I raised the issue of inviting Ukraine to NATO, and I am glad that President Erdogan said that Ukraine deserves to become a member of NATO," concluded the President of Ukraine.
