As a result of Azerbaijani aggression in September 2022, at least 1,427 children were displaced, and their basic rights were violated. Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan reports on her Twitter page.
"Speaking of children's rights, during Azerbaijan's aggression in September 2022, educational institutions in the area came under direct fire, depriving children of their right to education, at least 1,427 children were displaced, their basic rights violated," she wrote, sharing the 2022 UN Report on Children Affected by Conflict.
"Nowadays, Lachin Corridor blockade has irreversible impact on children of Nagorno-Karabakh. Separation from families, displacement, psychological suffering are some of scary realities that children of Nagorno-Karabakh face. Now 20.000 children are deprived of reliable education," Badalyan stated in another Twitter post.
