The trial of two Armenian servicemen abducted from the sovereign territory of Armenia in May began in Sumgait today.
Harutyun Hovagimyan, born in 1989, and Karen Ghazaryan, born in 2004, were kidnapped on May 26, when the Azerbaijani side attacked the vehicle supplying food to the combat positions of the Ministry of Defense.
The captured Armenian servicemen are accused of illegally crossing the border, abusing Azerbaijani border guards, attempting terrorism, smuggling weapons and other illegal activities.
