As a result of the next round of Washington negotiations, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on several more articles of the draft peace treaty and registered progress in mutual understanding, at the same time noting that the positions on several key issues require further work.
To the question of ‘Lurer’ about which articles there is a need for further discussion, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Ani Badalyan answered: “The positions of Armenia and Azerbaijan on several key issues require further work. It refers to the border delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the withdrawal of troops and the creation of an international mechanism for the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue.”
