The Parliament of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) calls on the authorities of Armenia to immediately stop the Washington negotiations with Azerbaijan, until the establishment of a full ceasefire on the line of contact with Artsakh and on the border of Armenia and the provision of documentary guarantees to keep it.
The National Assembly of Artsakh accepted the statement after another case of gross violation of the ceasefire by Azerbaijan on the night of June 28, as a result of which 4 servicemen were martyred.
Artur Tovmasyan (Speaker of Artsakh National Assembly) - The continuation of negotiations will mean encouraging the aggressive behavior of the Azerbaijani side and privilege at the international level.
Parliamentarians emphasize that under the conditions of a complete blockade of Artsakh, the repeated killing of Artsakh citizens using artillery means and drones proves that Azerbaijan, ignoring the international community, is striving to achieve the final depopulation of Artsakh through genocidal actions.
Artur Tovmasyan - It is noteworthy and significant that this new incident of regular violations of the ceasefire regime by Azerbaijan, similar to the previous cases, was also recorded at a time when the regular negotiations between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan over the issues of peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani conflict are currently taking place in Washington with the mediation of the US Secretary of State. This, of course, once again proves and confirms that these negotiations taking place on the ‘peace treaty’ are also in reality nothing more than an imitation of the creation of an atmosphere for the establishment of lasting peace and stability in the region, supposedly in the context of international efforts.
The National Assembly of Artsakh calls on the UN Security Council, the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries, apart from statements of sympathy, exhortations and advice, to impose sanctions on Azerbaijan, curbing aggressive ambitions.

The parliamentarians urge the Russian Federation to stop the anti-human, genocidal actions of Azerbaijan with the most severe measures within the framework of the peacekeeping mission.
