Transfer of medical patients to medical centers of Armenia by the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) office of the International Committee of the Red Cross has been restored, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh reports.
Today, on June 25, 15 patients from the Republican Medical Center CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, together with 9 companions, were transferred to specialized medical centers of the Republic of Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the Artsakh office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, after a ten-day total blockade. Many medical patients are still waiting for their transfer to the Republic of Armenia and return to Artsakh.
During the day, it is planned to return 16 medical patients (together with companions) sent to Armenia for treatment to Artsakh by ICRC vehicles, as well as to transport urgently needed medicines and medical supplies to Artsakh.
At the moment, 4 children are in the neonatal and resuscitation department in the Medical Association "Arevik."
8 patients are in the intensive care unit at the Republican Medical Center CJSC, 3 of them are in critical condition.
