Putin called this situation "a blow to the back of the country and people, apostasy. According to the president, they are trying to push Russia into defeat and capitulation with the rebellion, but the authorities will "react harshly to the betrayal, and actions against the rebels will be harsh."
According to the President of the Russian Federation, the country's army and law enforcement officers have received the necessary orders.
"We are fighting for our sovereignty and independence, for the right to be and remain Russia, a state with a thousand-year history," the head of the Kremlin said.
He reminded of 1917 events, adding that the authorities will not allow the split to repeat itself in Russia.
Putin also said that the situation in Rostov remains difficult. The work of the civil and military department is actually blocked in the city.
