At the PACE summer session, during the discussion on ‘Ensuring free and safe movement through the Lachin Corridor’, Ruben Rubinyan, head of the Armenian Parliament delegation to the PACE, reminded that the people of Nagorno-Karabakh have been under blockade for months and have been under complete siege for more than a week, since now it is not possible to deliver even humanitarian aid to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Rubinyan expressed his satisfaction that the PACE managed to check the situation on the ground and thanked the rapporteur Paul Gavan for his work.
According to the deputy, it is not difficult to guess what Azerbaijan is doing.
According to Rubinyan, the government of that country keeps the people of Artsakh under siege on the one hand, and calls them ‘enemy’, ‘cancer’ etc., on the other hand. He emphasized that everyone understands how such a way of working ends.
Rubinyan called on the delegate of Azerbaijan, Samad Seidov, to explain why they call Armenians “cancer of Europe”.
