During the briefing, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, also referred to the recent publications in the Russian media that Washington is trying to force mediation on Baku and Stepanakert and is forcing them to meet with the representatives of Azerbaijan in a third country.
“First of all, that publication is, unfortunately, credible. Secondly, Russia is ready to contribute to the dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert on ensuring the rights and security guarantees of the people of Karabakh, as we have repeatedly informed the interested parties,” said Zakharova.
She added that Moscow has already proven that it is faithful to the agreements reached and is ready to work step by step in all directions. “But that path is not easy,” emphasized the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
