Debates on the Lachin Corridor have been included in the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
The Azerbaijani delegation to PACE tried to block the item from being included in the agenda but failed.
Armenia delegate to PACE Vladimir Vardanyan said PACE included the item in the session by overwhelming majority of votes.
The Assembly voted 73 to 15 with 6 abstentions to adopt the decision.
The Lachin corridor linking the Republic of Artsakh to Armenia and the rest of the world has been closed since December 12, 2022.
On June 15 Azerbaijan banned all humanitarian traffic through the Lachin corridor.
