Leaving the format of the trilateral working group of deputy prime ministers will have obvious negative consequences for everyone, the deputy prime minister of Russia stressed.
Turning to the issue of free trade zones with the EAEU, Overchuk stated that now the EAEU is very close to concluding an agreement with Iran, it can be signed before the end of the year. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that in the presence of common markets and a unified customs area, all negotiations on free trade zones with any country are conducted not by the Russian Federation, but by the Eurasian Economic Commission.
“Different interests are taken into account during negotiations. In our case, the interests of all five EAEU member countries, their businesses and consumers are involved. As is customary in EAEU, everything is decided on the basis of the consensus of five countries,” said Overchuk.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, there are a number of agreements in the EAEU, which are being negotiated. It is Egypt, India, Indonesia and UAE.
