Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili held a phone conversation with his Turkish colleague Hakan Fidan, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the two FMs underscored their readiness to strengthen strategic partnership between Turkey and Georgia.
Ilia Darchiashvili thanked his Turkish counterpart for support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations.
The ministers emphasized the significance of peace processes to ensure stability and sustainable development in the region. Ilia Darchiashvili invited his Turkish counterpart to Georgia.
