At this moment, even transportation of seriously ill patients from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Yerevan has become impossible. Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan announced this during a briefing in the Government, referring to the information that access through the Lachin Corridor has been reduced to zero since yesterday.
“Over time, we constantly have such serious exacerbations. We try to ensure as much as possible that the professional teams provide medical care together, but this cannot be a solution, of course. And I always, again strongly condemning, I say that obstructing medical care of patients is against all international documents and does not fit into any humanitarian principle,” said Avanesyan.
