Moscow communicates almost every day with Baku and Yerevan regarding the unblocking of transportation links between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told RIA Novosti.
"Russia participates in the [respective] negotiations, offers solutions, provides communication between the deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, a platform for dialogue. I never answer the question of especially when the unblocking will take place and how quickly or slowly the parties will agree when it will happen," he said.
Also, Overchuk informed that within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, he discussed with deputy PM of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev the issues that remained unresolved after the Moscow meeting with his colleagues from Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"The main work is done all the time. We communicate almost every day with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides about the unblocking of transport links; it is really so. We communicate constantly by phone calls, exchanging files. The work goes on not from meeting to meeting," said the deputy PM of Russia, answering the question about the date of the next meeting of the tripartite working group.
Overchuk noted that he had noticed significant progress in the dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the unblocking of transport communications after the meeting of the working group of Moscow, Baku and Yerevan on June 2.
