“I expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for supporting Azerbaijan during the Second Karabakh War”, Ilham Aliyev said as he held an expanded meeting with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Aliyev informed the Pakistani Prime Minister about ongoing negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia on a peace agreement.
”Prospects to sign this agreement are here”, Aliyev said.
“Azerbaijan always supports and will continue to support Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his press statement following an expanded meeting with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
“And in all international organizations, we demonstrate this support and solidarity. And mutual support of course unites our countries and our peoples even more,” the head of state emphasized.
“We also agreed that we will work hard to enhance our mutual trade. And the step towards that we'll be signing of a MoU to start working on that and to work on the list of items, which will be included into the list of preferential trade between our countries”, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said.
