Turkey is ready to open Consulate General in Shushi any time, Turkish president Erdogan said during a news briefing with Azerbaijani president Ilham liyev. “If our Consulate General in Shushi is opened, of course, it will be a separate message to the whole world, especially Armenia” the Turkish President said.
“We are determined to develop our relations, which we raised to the level of alliance with the Shushi Declaration, in all areas”, said Erdogan, who is on a state visit to Azerbaijan, as he held an expanded meeting with Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
“The Turkey-Azerbaijan unity and brotherhood are an international factor, a factor of stability, development and security”, said Aliyev during the expanded meeting with Turkish President Erdogan before the press briefing. He also said, international laws do not work and he achieved what he aimed not with negotiations but force.
