Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Azerbaijan for a state visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan were met by Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and other officials.
Erdogan's delegation includes the ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Energy, Transport National Intelligence Chief. Erdogan and Aliyev are expected to discuss steps to further advance bilateral relations and cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan and exchange views on regional and international developments.
The leaders will also hold a joint news conference.
