The city of Ankara experienced an unprecedented flood due to heavy rainfall on Sunday. Videos circulating online showcased flooded streets and vehicles being swept away, along with reports of some homes being affected by the torrential rains and floods, Roya News reports.
These floods occurred following intense rainfall along the northern Black Sea coast of Turkey, which led to subsequent flooding.
The Turkish authorities have issued warnings in response to the predictions made by the Turkish Meteorological Authority, which forecasted more heavy rainfall on Monday along the Black Sea coast, the Aegean Sea coast, and the western Mediterranean coast.
