The 11th session of the Armenian-Chinese joint commission on trade and economic cooperation was held Wednesday in Beijing under the co-chairing of Armenia's Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, and China's Vice Minister and Deputy China International Trade representative, Ling Ji.
Matters related to deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries were discussed during the session, the Ministry of Economy of Armenia reorts.
At the end of the session, the latter’s protocol was signed.
In 2022, the amount of trade between Armenia and China amounted to $1.76 billion, increasing by 39.4% compared to the same period last year. And trade in January-March of this year amounted to $448.8 million, increasing by 43.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
China continues to be Armenia's second largest trade partner.
