We have repeatedly announced that we are working towards the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Baku in a trilateral format: Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, based on the statements of the leaders of our countries. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated this during the weekly briefing.
“We consider the complex of trilateral agreements to be an irreplaceable road map for the process of reconciliation between the two peoples. This work has its traces, the dynamics of the negotiation process, formats and additional tools. We don't try to force anything, we go according to plan.
The rapprochement of the approaches of Armenia and Azerbaijan is always a priority for Russia,” Zakharova stated.
