Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Mélanie Joly, referred to the visit of Aram I, head of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, in her microblog on
Twitter.
"Welcome to Canada, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. A key leader to the Armenian diaspora, we're committed to working together, to ensure stability in and around Armenia, and to opening our first embassy in Yerevan soon," Joly tweeted. The Foreign Minister made such a note, and also published footage from the meeting with Prime Minister Trudeau.
