Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, referred to the possible Moscow-Kyiv dialogue.
According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready for any communication so that Russia's goals are realized not through a special operation, but also through other options. “However, the West still leaves no other option,” added Peskov.
Earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexi Danilov, stated that Kyiv is not going to start a dialogue with Moscow. “We have not closed the door to negotiations, so we are not going to open it either. We will not talk to Putin. Ukraine's conditions for ending the war are quite simple: the borders of 1991 must be recognized, Putin and his accomplices must be held accountable, the damage done to Ukraine must be compensated, and security guarantees must be provided to our country,” Danilov added.
