Since the morning of June 3, settlements of the Shebekinsky urban district have been under shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“In Novaya Tavolzhanka, an elderly woman was killed as a result of shelling. She died on the spot from her injuries,” he wrote.
Another woman was injured, with shrapnel wounds to her left shoulder, she was taken to the hospital.
In Bezlyudovka, a local resident received multiple injuries incompatible with life. During the shelling of the village, a man was also injured, he received shrapnel wounds to the chest and limbs.⠀
“My most sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. A speedy recovery to all the victims, ”Gladkov wrote.
On June 3, the Ukrainian military attacked the village of Tishanka, Volokonovsky district. None of the residents were hurt. Shrapnel from the shells knocked out the windows in three houses, damaged the gas pipeline and the power line. Emergency services are on the scene.
The day before, on June 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired almost 400 shells at Shebekin, several people died. Residents of the district were evacuated, the authorities banned traffic on several sections of roads. In Belgorod, the air defense system damaged street lighting.
